New Proton Persona is now officially revealed and launched by proton, and been called Proton Persona Elegance. The car will be available in three level, which is Base Line, Medium Line, and High Line.
Proton Persona Elegance is powered with 1.6 liter Campro IAFM engine, at 6,500 rpm and 148Nm of torque from 4000 rpm, which is the same familiar engine as the previous version one. All available in both four speed automatic or five speed manual transmission, except that the High Line only offered with automatic transmission. Seems like the output remain the same. But with this new Persona Elegance, it comes with a new 32-bit ECU (previously 16-bit), capable to bring more inputs, able to do more parameter, and able to interconnect with more systems. In short, this car has been utilized on future proofing and cost effective.
Exterior changes are made with new rear lamp cluster with LED brake lights, new rims, bodykit, slim rear spoilers, fog lamps, standard turning lamps on side mirrors, and chrome door handle. While for the exterior one, GPS navigation provided for the Medium and High Line. Audio system has also improved with USB plug in, new meter cluster graphics. Medium and High Line cars get even more driver’s seat height adjuster and electric side mirrors. The medium line gets driver’s airbag and pre-tensioner seatbelts. Whist, the High Line offered with leather seats and trim, cruise control, remote release for trunk, ABS and EBD, 2 airbags and pre-tensioner seatbelts.
Proton Persona Elegance are currently offered in two color scheme, Chiffon Green and Bronze Garnet. However, exclusive High Line model been added extra Brilliant Red color. The Proton Persona Elegance are available for booking now and here’s the price list for Persona Elegance:
